01The reason for this approach

Make our expertise visible.
Strengthen the reasons to choose SUSONITY.

Our films should reinforce SUSONITY’s technical authority and industry leadership by showing our specialists, laboratory capabilities and the applications our materials help enable. The aim is to attract potential customers and remind existing customers of the expertise behind our products.

Cosmetics / Industrial / Coatings

Build a library with lasting value.

Plan interviews, laboratory footage and application scenes as reusable material for standalone clips and combined films. Shape each edit around its audience and purpose, with new content added over time.

This extends the value of the initial production and can reduce repeat filming.

Where the content can work.

Direct customer engagement

  • Trade shows

Captioned, sound-off loops attract attention; focused clips support conversations at the stand.

  • Customer and distributor conversations

Expert and application films help teams explain our contribution, discuss needs and follow up.

  • Customer events, workshops and webinars

Introduce topics, demonstrate laboratory activities and support technical discussion before, during and after an event.

Digital and editorial reach

  • Website and campaign pages

Segment films and technical stories help visitors explore our capabilities and take the next step towards an enquiry.

  • Social media

Short, captioned insights introduce one expert perspective, process or application at a time.

  • Trade media and PR

Video excerpts, expert clips and stills support online magazine articles, interviews, newsletters and agreed sponsored features.

02The content architecture

Three layers. Three roles in building confidence.

Specialist voices establish authority. Laboratory footage demonstrates capability. Application stories make the possibilities relevant to customers. Each layer can stand alone or combine with the others.

01 Authority

Specialist voices

Make our knowledge visible through the people who can explain it.

Explain the thinking behind the material

Use expert interviews to address customer challenges, explain material choices and share application insight. Give audiences concrete reasons to recognise SUSONITY’s technical authority.

Applications and experiences

Connect our materials with products, design intentions and everyday use.

The balance changes with the purpose: an exhibition loop may lead with applications, while a customer film or workshop can give more space to expert explanation and laboratory detail.

03The segment stories

One approach. Three distinct worlds.

Each segment has its own audience, atmosphere and story—drawing on the same three content layers.

Concept imagery illustrates the proposed treatments—not verified SUSONITY facilities, employees or confirmed product applications.

04How we create it

A practical plan for production.

Film our people and capabilities at our own facilities wherever possible, create the application stories, then shape the material into videos for different audiences and channels.

Proposed approach · locations and editing partner subject to agreement.

  1. 01

    Plan the topics and filming

Work with the segment colleagues to identify the right specialists, interview topics, laboratory activities and application stories. Agree the intended outputs before filming so we capture material that can support several edits.

  2. Full studio interview concept with specialist, camera and lighting equipment

    02

    Record the specialist interviews

Our preferred option is to create a controlled interview setup in a suitable room at Hoechst or Gernsheim, close to our laboratory facilities. If a suitable room is not available, we would rent a studio in Frankfurt or the surrounding area.

Room selection should allow quiet recording, controlled lighting and enough space for the filming equipment.

  3. Laboratory concept showing a technician working with a pipette

    Film our laboratory capabilities

Capture laboratory footage at both Gernsheim and Hoechst, showing selected people, equipment, processes and working details. Plan the shots with the site and technical teams, and film only content cleared for public communication.

  4. Application concept showing a blue-violet coated delivery robot

    04

    Create the application stories

Develop the Cosmetics, Industrial and Coatings scenes through a suitable combination of selected filming, CGI, existing 3D assets and AI-assisted concept development. Confirm the relevant material contributions with the segment specialists.

  5. 05

    Edit for different purposes

The proposed editing partner is Ian’s editor, based in Mexico. Working from a shared brief and organised source material, we would create multiple videos for trade shows, the website, social channels and customer presentations.

Each edit would have its own emphasis, length, captions and format, shaped around where and how it will be viewed.

  6. 06

    Organise the material for reuse

Keep the interview recordings, laboratory footage, application assets and editable project files organised as a reusable library. This would allow us to revisit individual topics and create further edits as needs develop.

Planned outputs

Trade-show loops / Website films / Social edits / Customer presentation videos

One coordinated production. Multiple purposeful edits.
Material we can build on.
